Sales/Design Associate

Opportunity;

We have a few vacancies created due the continued success and growth of our modern forward thinking business. We require 3 x Sales people/Designers to supplement our current active team.

These positions are available with immediate effect and targeted towards the Home Counties and London.

The Company;

The Spaces Group designs and manufactures high quality modular buildings for the residential, educational and commercial markets.

We have grown over 25% year on year for the last 6 years.

Job description;

This is an exciting customer facing, design biased position with added responsibilities.

The successfully candidate will be tasked with taking strong prequalified leads, provided regularly by head office, and turn them into new business within an organised and supported framework. The responsibility encompasses all aspects of the customer to client relationship - further lead qualification, site visits, iterative design process, rudimentary computer modelling - including all commercial aspects.

You will need to manage your own diary, communicate effectively and comply with company procedures and policy.

This is a remote position and the successful candidate will be allocated a loose geographical territory as makes sense.

The successful candidates will be expected to attend regular remote video conferencing sessions, and also in person sales team gatherings for training and performance analysis.

Skill set required;

  • Self-motivated with a passion for design.
  • Driving license and own transportation. Our business is 90% London and the Home Counties.
  • Great communication skills required.
  • Computer literate - Outlook, Word, Excel, Google SketchUp modelling - training will be provided for this if required.
  • Ability to work independently is vital but must be a 'real' team player.

Remuneration;

£2,500.00 monthly fixed remuneration (paid in arrears) with an additional commission of 3% of total sales value exc VAT paid at month end.

Anticipated annual remuneration in the first year is £50k-£70k. Our best sales people are earning close to a 6 figure sum.

The Spaces Group (encompassing Garden Spaces, Annexe Space and Education Spaces) has almost zero staff turn-over which speaks volumes. The initial opportunity will be in selling our Garden Spaces and annexe Spaces products lines. We are a rapidly growing company, and this means career progression is always available related to the candidates aptitude and performance. We are expanding our market share and expanding into new growth areas, so the future looks very positive indeed.
